Caleb Wynne
Caleb is a Naui Divemaster. He is also a serving member of the WV Air National Guard, and a flight paramedic for Air Evac. He is one of our primary assistant instructors.
Evan Aldridge
Evan is a Naui Divemaster and a primary assistant instructor during training. He is currently the Fire Chief of the Summersville Fire Department as well as a Public Safety Diver.
ABOUT US
We are a family owned and operated business. We have over 50 years of diving experience on our staff. We teach both recreational and leadership scuba diving instructional courses, as well as CPR and First Aid courses. We are also scuba equipment dealers for your scuba equipment purchasing needs. This all began with the determination to bring safety, professionalism, and organization to recreational & professional scuba diving. Our staff is a combination of military veterans, firefighters, and EMS professionals as well. Our goal is to give our students a professional and comforting learning environment. In short, we strive for our students not only to be safe and proficient, but have an enjoyable and memorable diving experience that will keep them drawn to the water for the rest of their lives. We have an awesome pool at our disposal, a dive boat, and we use Summersville Lake located in Summersville, Nicholas County, WV for all of our open water classes and training.
Aaron Roop
Aaron & his wife Donna own Mountain State Scuba. Aaron is a Naui Scuba Instructor and a U.S. Army Veteran. He has a B.S. in Fire Science, and is currently a Captain with the Summersville Fire Department where he is the department training officer & water rescue operations officer. He is also a Nationally Registered EMT as well as a CPR/First Aid Instructor. He has over 20 years of diving experience including recreational, technical, public safety, and professional diving. He is also a certified regulator technician.

Donna Roop
Donna is co-owner of Mountain State Scuba with her husband Aaron. She is a Naui Divemaster as well as a Firefighter/Engineer/Public Safety Diver with the Summersville Fire Department. She is very active in the management of the business both hands on and in the shop. She is a primary assistant instructor during training. She is also a certified regulator technician.
